Support applied research for Regenovate, ReGen Lab's on-site food waste recovery solution. Help the team turn technical information and research observations into useful findings.

What you will do

• Review scientific literature and technologies related to food waste processing and resource recovery.
• Assist with planning research activities and recording trial observations under the team's supervision.
• Organise and analyse research data, prepare charts, and summarise findings.
• Contribute to technical reports and recommendations for further investigation.

Relevant background

Study in environmental science, chemistry, biotechnology, engineering or a related discipline. An interest in sustainability, careful data handling and clear technical communication will be useful.

AI Accounting Systems Intern.

Help with the company's day-to-day accounting work while developing and testing practical ways to use AI and automation in the accounting workflow. The role combines hands-on accounting support with technical process improvement.

What you will do

• Assist with organising invoices and receipts, maintaining accounting records, and preparing data for reconciliation and reporting.
• Map the existing accounting workflow and identify repetitive steps that could benefit from automation.
• Evaluate and configure AI-assisted tools to extract and structure information from invoices and receipts, checking outputs against the original documents.
• Prototype spreadsheet, script-based or low-code workflows for data validation, reconciliation support and report preparation.
• Test accuracy and exception handling, compare results with manual processing, and document the workflow and human review steps.

Relevant background

Study in computer science, information systems, data science, financial technology, accounting data analytics or a related discipline. Spreadsheet skills, an interest in accounting processes and a willingness to test AI tools carefully will be useful. Programming or low-code automation experience is an advantage.
